Online Manager

First Class Honours student at Manchester Metropolitan University studying Sports Marketing with excellent experience in sportswear sales, customer interaction and social media marketing. Worked within sports retail for 4 years and have expertise in how a business is run and communications marketing within it. Carried out a placement year as a digital media intern at GB Taekwondo ahead of the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships running social media campaigns and creating content. Went on to work in UK boxing with Ultimate Boxxer and invested time into their social media and engagement.

Achievements and responsibilities:

• Manage the Barefoot Junkie website.
• Create an ambassador programme for the brand.
• Increase the quality and consistency of social media. Current social media following of 7.5-10k. Run Facebook and Google paid ads as well as Organic posts.
• Ordering stock and engaging with our supplier as well as Vibram.
• Engagement with customers.

• Worked on archive footage to find new content.

Digital Media Intern

Achievements and responsibilities:

• Took control of the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram platforms for the two major taekwondo events in Manchester (2018 Grand Prix, 2019 World Taekwondo Championships). Instagram following reached 15k, Twitter following reached 3.5k and Facebook 20k. Experienced with Hootsuite and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Filmed content on a trip to Nepal as part of a partnership with World Taekwondo and UK Sport.
• Attended various events including UK Sport Conference, Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC.
• Presented the latest social media findings and analytics to the GB Taekwondo board.
• Closer to the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships took on the role of Sports Equipment Manager for the event.
• Delivered email and website updates to a subscriber base created during time at GB
Taekwondo.

Achievements and responsibilities:
• Worked at Soccerex for 5 days, global football convention.
• Had various responsibilities including working on the information desk, interacting with delegates.
• Also helped with ticket scanning as well as presenting on the Soccerex stand.
