Senior Designer

• In charge of Men's and Women's Apparel Design and development: Tops, Bottoms, and Swim. I select the fabrications or develop new fabrications. I create the Design, specs, tech packs. POM, BOM, prints, graphics and trims.
• In charge of Designing and Developing All Bags, Backpacks, Wallets, Travel Bags and Coolers
Work with Planning from Sales and Marketing. Market research to create color and line direction. Select and research new materials, trim development, material testing, and product testing.
I create the Design, construction, specs, tech packs, POM, BOM, prints, graphic and trims.
Make sure all bags are not only trend but functionable.
• I work closely with factories to achieve the highest quality, best fit and pricing.
• In charge of other accessories and promo items: sandals, towels, belts, thermos, and key chains.
• Work closely with sales and marketing - attend sales meetings and line direction meetings.

• Managed New Development for SMU styles work close with Design Director and tech team.
• Design and produce all SMU styles, produced according to sales and customer needs.
• Manage domestic and import development teams - 10 employees.
• Manage Import and Domestic production, scheduling with Import coordinator and Domestic coordinator and logistics to help facilitate production flow of 70K weekly domestic and 450K weekly import.

SMU Designer/Product Development

• Designed Men's performance and Roxy Athletix line - Responsible for Design, Direction and Color story. Silhouettes, Prints, Bags, Backpacks, Luggage and Trim package.
• In charge of Designing and Developing Performance Gym Bags, Backpacks and Travel Bags: Market research, material selection, trim development, material testing, product testing, color direction, line direction and development. Developed Body, tech packs, POM, and BOMs. Track and communicate with factories in development and all the way to Production handoff.
• Prepared and provide sketches, trims and construction detail tech packs for overseas vendors.
• Work closely with Product Development/M&D VP/Domestic and Overseas vendors throughout development process to ensure highest quality.

Senior Designer - Quiksilver and Roxy Performance

• In charge of Designing Outerwear Collection. Jackets, pants and snow bibs. Market Research, fabrications selections, textile prints/graphics, fabrication development, fabrication testing, color direction, line direction. Developed body, specs, tech packs, trims, POM, and BOMs
• In charge of Designing Snow Travel Bags, Backpacks and Snowboard bags: Market research, material selection, designed prints, trim design and development, material testing, product testing, color direction, line direction and development. Developed Body, Specs, tech packs, POM, and BOMs. Track and communicate with factories in development and all the way to Production handoff.
• Worked directly with tech design, product developers and fitting.
• Showed line to key accounts
• Worked with Sales to develop SMU styles and strategies
• Worked with Olympic Team Riders on signature designs for function and fit.
• Attend in house photo shoot or location for catalog and web.

Design/Design Director

• Managed Design Team of 7 employees, Responsible for Design, direction and color story for all cut and sew of Young Men's, Boys and Kids product. Woven, knits, sweaters, bottoms, outerwear, denim and backpacks
• Work with team riders on functionality and fit.
• Worked directly with Tech Designer and fit models. Attended fittings and communicated changes during development stages.
• Worked closely with Product Development team throughout the development process to ensure highest quality.
• Worked with Product Manager to hand off all details, fabrics, changes and trim info to production after approval of sample line along with meeting sales and marketing goals.
