I'm more than just an experienced Product Developer. I bring a wide range of experience to the table, having worked in Sales, Retail, Product Management and eCommerce. I analyze the situation in front of me and anticipate possible barriers before they become a problem. In footwear my strengths lie in Last Development, Costing and Process. But, no matter what the product is, I'm considering how to make it the best it can be from design concept to retail delivery: Are there other materials or constructions to improve the Product team's margins? Am I giving my Supply Chain partners the information they need to deliver on time? Is this the product Sales and Retail need to succeed? Having owned my own business, I understand the importance of Inventory Control, Cash Flow, Customer Service and Delivering the Product my Customer Wants. Bringing all of this to the table, I'm more than just an experienced Product Developer. 

•	Built Fit Sample approval process to expedite commercialization and reduce sampling costs by nearly 50%.
•	Created Strategic Vision for Product Integrity department, both in the US and Asia, to evolve the function to become more efficient thereby promoting the company’s speed to market initiative.


Senior Product Integrity Engineer-HOKA One One & UGG

•	Promoted to assume responsibility for all Product Development of $110MM, 90+ style UGG Women’s SMU line.
•	Streamlined the commercialization process and reduced sampling costs by utilizing 3D CAD & 3D Printing along with material swatch approvals for Color Update styles.  
•	Led Product Development efforts for Koolaburra by UGG brand, starting from its infancy of 11 styles up to the level of 76 styles and $100MM in revenue.
•	Increased Gross Margin by 700 basis points through cost-effective material selection and more efficient constructions resulting in an additional $14MM in Margin Dollars.
•	Increased the speed to market by 8 weeks by eliminating one round of line reviews through the use of 3D Sample Printing. 
•	Focused heavily on Last development and Fit to minimize commercialization process and achieve highest overall fit scores across all brands.
•	Mentored individuals in the areas of cost engineering, proper fit, the consumer retail experience and cross-functional communication in the organization.


Product Development Manager-Koolaburra by UGG & UGG Women’s SMU’s

•	Modified Strap construction on “Mush” sandal line to reduce webbing usage, resulting in a 200 basis point increase in Gross Margin on 1MM+ pairs/annum.
•	Managed two Product Development Associates; coaching them on Last development, basic footwear construction, blueprint reading and costing.
•	Led development efforts for all Teva Performance and collaboration projects.  


Senior Product Developer-Teva

•	Owned and operated specialty retail shoe store focusing on comfort footwear & custom orthotics.
•	Increased top-line revenue 110%, boosted gross margin to 63% and returned to profitability during first 2 years by expanding revenue base with new products and entering Medicare market.

•	Managed the duties of product development team from tech package generation through confirmation, ensuring strategic direction, margin requirements and delivery targets were met.
•	Analyzed China- and Vietnam-based factories to determine capacity and capability to produce product with desired materials, function and quality.

•	Established company, completed business plan, defined target market, focused product direction and evaluated India-based factories to create distinctive, Indian-styled sandal line.
