Rana Sevil-Higham is a multi-faceted, global garment professional. As President of Dedeme, she leads an international consulting business with garment & textile clients worldwide. Services include market analysis, product positioning, design & development, sourcing and sales presentations. Levis, ISKO, The Korff Kounsil, Vince, Joie and latest 1921 have all taken advantage of Rana’s insight and expertise. 
Her professional experience in the apparel industry spans more than 24 years. In addition to her position at Lee / Wrangler, she was a key member of the Levis team and delivered 18 years of increasing responsibility and success. Rana joined Levis in Turkey as Design & Merchandising Manager and then moved to Brussels as Merchandising Manager for 501 & Red Tab. Following that she led the European Fit & Finish Department and the latest Signature Brand. She then moved to the U.S. as a Director to develop the Levi’s Premium organization and the very successful Capital E & Levis Vintage Clothing. Rana has a broad knowledge of design, development and merchandising functions as well as a proven track record of growth strategies and implementation methods.
With degrees from Bell College London, Cum Laude U.S. Int’l University, London and Cum Laude Davis College in Ohio, Rana has matched well her business and fashion education. She has received numerous honors and merits of achievement over the years from Levis.


Concept through to final production responsibility for all Denim related products.
• Created new processes resulting in faster development and production timing - reduced production
lead time from 8 to 5 weeks.
• Built quality control system to improve import and domestic sourced goods - reduced return rate to
30-34%.
• Managed allocations and costs, resulting in a margin increase of 9%.
• Through collaboration with denim mills developed unique sustainable denim fabrics and developed
new sustainable washes and trims with manufacturers / vendors. These helped in creation of
"Sustainable Denim" message for Reformation.

Managed all Bottoms development and production inclusive of fabric, fit, wash and trim.
• Organized all on-time allocations, globally, for development & production WIPs ensuring on time
delivery of 98%.
• Developed seasonal calendar agreements with vendors, increasing overall margins by 5%.
