Hi! I am Rachel Sutherland. A little about me- I am a growth-oriented individual with nine plus 
years of experience in the apparel industry, with five years in technical design managing
various categories in Women's yoga, athleisure and activewear, and
two plus years in technical design in Menswear in athleisure and activewear.
I consistently think of new ways for self-improvement through
making goals and bringing them to life. In order to live a productive
lifestyle I stay accountable for my actions AND    of course have fun in the process! I naturally have 
a curiosity for learning, researching and change. Therefore, I set attainable goals and plans to make
them happen. I truly believe that you can achieve anything you want in life if you set your mind to it!

between internal team and vendor partners. Reporting timeline developments,

• Initiated and kept contact and rapport with vendors regarding fit, tech packs,
construction, execution, and prototype development.


• Tracked, organized and recorded samples sent and received, and in office
via vendor partners, email correspondence, and tracking system


• Measured and inspected proto samples notating specs, execution and construction


• Communicated fit revisions, tech pack changes to vendor partners with required measurement adjustments, detailed notes, pictures, pattern
advisements or inquiries to proceed to next sampling stage in order to keep
deadlines


Achievements:
• Implemented new processes for consistent fits for the technical department:
Worked with team and vendors to resolve fit issue regarding different colored
full-fashion knit sweaters.
• Created new spec manuals with sketches and point of measurement guides
for internal team and vendors for different style categories (sweaters, pants, shorts, jackets, skirts)
• Developed default specs for certain types of style category for future template
use.

Achievements:
• Developed best-selling core styles for Shape Enhancing Bottoms, and managed new line for Plus Sizes. Goals were met through managing calendar,
keeping transparent communication with teams to be able to delegate tasks and in order to meet deadlines. I was able to reduce costs by lessening the number of samples, creating consistent fits which ultimately lead to steady
weekly orders which increased sales.
