AR Shared Services Representative

? Collections of supplier invoices while maintaining a good relationship with suppliers
? Assist suppliers with question they have or invoice copies needed
? Reconcile payments that are open on the accounts with invoices that the belong to
? Work closely with sales to insure incentive invoices are accurate when suppliers have questions
? Work with pricing/post off team to insure invoices are posted correctly

 July 2004 – January
? Supervise a team of 3 direct reports covering accounts in the United States and Canada
? Manage credit for two brands in the United States and four brands in Canada
? Perform collections with large Fortune 500 retailers and small mom-and-pop retail locations
? Contact customers regarding past due balances and /or changes in their shipping status
? Perform accurate credit analyses for potential clients to identify and mitigate risk related to contract terms.
? Set up new accounts and credit terms
? Work closely with over 25 sales representatives in the United States and Canada
? Assist the collection team with accounts that need to be escalated by directly working with the customers
and sales management for resolution and maintain positive, professional relationships
? Recommend accounts for collections or to be reserved for potential bad debt loss
? Review credit hold reports and release orders as warranted
? Supply credit references as requested
? Maintain records of legal issues as they relate to commercial credit and collections
? Approve all credit memos up to $10,000
? Prompt reporting of weekly, monthly, and quarterly receivables ageing
? Provide weekly reports to controller with explanation for credit held


 Credit Supervisor 

? Manage 9 brands, 800+ accounts, while working directly with Credit Managers and AR team
? Responsible for receivables collections for rapidly expanding brands
? Maintain and improve customer relations handling domestic accounts
? Analyze payment trends and performed daily quality reviews for East Coast accounts
? Proficient at researching and resolving chargeback disputes
? Provide superior customer services to all customers
