I'm Aleesha Francis and I'm a multidisciplinary creative based in Utah.


For the past 7 years, I've been helping brands connect with their audience through
great design. I'm a big fan of observation, empathy, and communication--three tools
that are critical to my design process, as they help me provide strong, human-centered
designs to my clients and employers.

I have experience working in print production, tourism, marketing, motion, and web.
When I'm not designing, I like to spend time rock climbing, playing peek-a-boo with
my 5 month old daughter, or performing with my local comedy improv troupe. While
all of these activites are not directly associated with design, I  definitely feel that they
strengthen my ability to relate to others through subtle, and often unnoticed, details.

Bonus: I am a devout Legend of Zelda fan and you will never find me at a sporting event.

After being hired for a full-time position after my internship, I worked with both
animated and static graphics to produce compelling content for active and prospective
customers.  While in my role as a graphic designer, I wanted to expand my skill set and incorporate motion design into my projects so learned how to implement after effects into my design process. On average, animated paid social ads had a 136% higher

conversion rate than static images and a 1,164% higher engagement rate.

GRAPHIC + MOTION DESIGNER

As a graphic design intern, I owned design for social media, newsletters and one
sheets. While working with these projects, I had to maintain relationships with the project owners, and work with them to make sure that I was not only creating what they
wanted, but what they needed to achieve their goals. After eight months, I was awarded

a full time design position opened up on the creative team.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

While  working  for  the  Utah  Office  of  Tourism	I  designed  and  produced  county
embroidered patches, weekly newsletters, event mailers, white papers, and helped
with the execution of the Utah Life Elevated website. I worked closely with the rest of the tourism department to create impactful messaging and imagery that would resonate with our audience.
