Daniel Icaza Milson is a bilingual, Panamanian and American designer and artist based in Austin, TX. He has 6+ years of design experience across different sectors like color, material, and finish (CMF), industrial design engineering for consumer electronics, architecture, and fine art.

• Maintained and repaired six industrial sewing machines and twelve wood shop machines.

Soft Goods & Wood Shop Supervisor

• Analyzed runway trends and led 2020 S/S season trend packages for consumers, which included six color ways, two promotional posters and two repeat patterns for fabric.
• Initiated trend research for 2021 F/W season resulting in selection of initial themes.

Design Intern

• Introduced a swim program to teach 8–14-year-olds how to swim and designed three posters to advertise swim meets.
• Managed 25 lifeguards at five city pools and assessed progress with department heads.

Program Manager

• Built architectural metalwork from shop drawings for three different projects, one of which weighed over six tons.
• Fabricated in an 8,600 sq. ft shop and installed on-site in Downtown San Francisco and Palo Alto.

Fabricator

• Uncovered essential mechanisms in two different proteins associated with cell division.
• Presented research and protein purification progress (HPLC, PCR) every three months.
