David Johnston

David Johnston, CFO, has over thirty years of experience in top financial management. David Johnston, CFO, is currently the principal of dbj Consulting LLC, a financial and strategic advisory firm for growing life science enterprises. He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of ImmunoGen, Inc., a Waltham, MA-based oncology company. He oversaw numerous public offerings and a non-dilutive royalty financing during his time at ImmunoGen. David Johnston was the CFO of Aveo Oncology and Genzyme Biosurgery before joining ImmunoGen. On the buy-side and sell-side, he led both their initial public offerings and several strategic initiatives. Mr. Johnston graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. and the University of Michigan with an MBA. David Johnston was on the boards of directors of RAW Art Works, a nonprofit youth arts organization, and Tissue Banks International, one of the country's most important eye and tissue banks.
