Production Sample Coordinator

Partner with designers and photo studios to meet product demand for line book creation and sales meeting presentations for both Peter Millar and G/Fore. Communicate with factories and mills as needed to ensure accurate sample execution. Responsible for receiving sample products as well as sorting sample inventory and scheduling deliveries of sample inventory. Create, pull, format and send various reports to provide up-to-date and accurate information daily to Production, Planning, Design, Photo, and Receiving departments. Assist production management in various special projects. Coordinate all "pull from inventory" requests to aid the needs of large specialty retailers, digital asset and marketing departments. Oversee the organization and delivery of returning sample products to the distribution center.

Created purchase orders in inventory system and relayed information to vendors. Communicated with vendors regarding potential delivery risks, changes to product specs, changes to product lead times.  Entered ship modes onto purchase orders to relay to logistics team and freight forwarder to ensure best transit option for shipments.  Keyed large data sets into Blue Cherry to reflect changes in price, color, material composition etc., made to the product line.

Addressed quality assurance issues and relayed those issues to our Quality control manager to ensure our products are held to high standards. Performed various inventory queries within Soften to ensure physical inventory matches systematic inventory. Trained new interns on the interworking of the distribution center and essential functions to aid in the supply chain process. Tested new RFID technology to later be implemented as the standard for picking and managing orders.

Managed the overhaul of the inventory system to increase ease of access to inventory, receiving of new inventory and shipping of new orders. Functioned as the point of contact for all customer support inquiries and resolved customer issues and concerns.
