•	Lelebelle Kids Fashion Label: Helped launched brand, working with creative director/CEO on embroidery and print techniques, sourcing, and establishing core base fabrics.
•	HS Fashion (headquarter in Hangzhou, with 3 woven factories, 1 sweater factory, 1 cut & sew factory): Assisted in establishing new client relations in US market - brands like Shoshanna and Jonathan Simhkai, G3, Levy Group, Lelebelle, JS Group, Alice & Olivia, Re/Done, Cult Gaia, Rachel Zoe, and Kobi Halperin. Develop and present factory garment samples along with fabrics.

Newly created position to direct fabric research and development for major lines, including CeCe by Cynthia Steffe, VC Signature, 1State, Court & Rowe, Chaus Sports, Chaus, Vince Camuto, Cynthia Steffe, and private labels, including QVC, Dillards, TJ Maxx, AQUA, and Sam's Club. Supervised daily processes regarding budgeting, sourcing, testing, status reporting, and corresponding with mills. Recruited, trained, and managed a high performing team of seven, including Fabric R&D and Bulk Fabric Managers. Achieved $3M reduction in annual production cost by negotiating, redeveloping, and consolidating core fabrics across brands. Slashed average cost of fabric from $3.25/yd. to $1.51/yd. (gauze chiffon, georgette, double knit, hammered satin).
• Collaborated with EVP of Design and Merchandising to analyze best sellers, determine fabric requirements, and develop seasonal strategies. Redeveloped personal samples and shopping samples in fabric and garment construction. Presented new tailoring samples/test garments for upcoming season.
• Traveled to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam, sourcing and assessing mills, factories, and wash houses. Worked with factories on garment sample and embroidery development, denim washes, and production issues (pilling, shrinkage, crocking, handfeel, labels, and disclaimer tags).
• Worked cross-functionally to ensure strategies achieved goals across the organization.
- Design/Tech Design: Collaborated on concept/inspiration shopping, color and trend forecasting, denim wash trial developments, and embroidery layout. Requested mock-ups, lab dips, special requests, and hand loom reviews. Attended fit sessions to resolve fabric concerns. Requested fabric for PPS/SS/TOP sample making.
- Merchandising: Worked on costing, pricing, finalizing fabric line plans, essential/replenishment fabric injections, and chase orders.
- Production: Developed sample yardage allocations, delivery requirements, Time and Action calendar, fabric testing, care labels, and fabric defects/claims.
- CAD: Assigned fabric base qualities for printing; submitted artwork to mills and factories.

Director of Corporate Fabric R&D

Sourced and developed high quality fabrics for renowned women's ready-to-wear (RTW) collection and presented detailed design concepts to the Creative Director and CEO. Communicated routinely with mills to ascertain requirements for lab dips, handlooms, strike-offs, trials, and sample yardage. Developed and administered seasonal fabric budget and created seasonal fabric plans for internal and factory use.
• Sourced and developed fabrics for women's RTW collection and dress line. Worked with factories in China and Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and India for wash developments, embroidery mockups, and tailoring samples for costing.
• Traveled to Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taiwan for fabric and garment sourcing; sourced locally at Mood, B&J, and Elegant.
- Maintained daily communication with fabric mills, agents, and design and production departments.
- Tracked and followed up with mills on lap dips, strike offs, handlooms, trials and sample yardage; secured greige goods for sampling.
- Worked with local dye and wash house on development of washes on silk and PFD fabrics.
- Issued bulk purchase orders; executed factory allocations.
• Maintained fabric room, racks, and swatch cards; created fabric swatch cards with all details for design wall. Produced swatch cards with elaborate design detail.

Fabric Manager

Sourced fabrics from local retailers and global exhibitions (Premiere Vision, Texworld) based on seasonal needs for women's RTW collections and HSN's Love Adam label. Researched trends and colors and presented to Creative Director. Discussed fabric issues with Production Director at weekly meetings. Negotiated fabric prices and purchased bulk orders. Communicated with mills/tanneries to follow up on fabric, strike offs, trials, sample yardage, handlooms, and lap dips.
•	Traveled to Hong Kong, Shen Zhen, and Shanghai, China to work with woven and leather factories on fabric and garment sourcing, development.
•	Worked with domestic garment and embroidery factories and pattern/cutting room, as well as wash/dye houses on runway show pieces as well as bulk production as needed.
•	Redeveloped core running double knit (from Italy) in China for $5/yd. (originally $16/yd.) at Adam Lippes.
•	Sourced and developed core fabrics from Adam Lippes collection to HSN collaboration to meet HSN price point and quality testing standards.
•	Reviewed new fabric/yarns/leather selections with Adam seasonally.
•	Attended fittings (Mens) as needed, to review fit and discuss potential fabric issues
