I define the sales strategy, I analysis and monitor the important figure like CVR, CTR, PV, to define the detail action or strategy following, studying all my competitors
I design, develop and create a full range of fitness product, including the all package, fitness/yoga mat, towel, dumbbell, elastic band, foam roller	around 20 SKU. I made new design in special version with Chinese character printing on the mats which never seen in market.
I place the order and work with supplier to catch delivery. Guarantee all the finish good and accessory stock level.
I negotiate with domestic logistic vendors and finish good supplier trying to get a good price.
I made recruitment myself, warehouse people, sales, and manager
I take care and coach employees to maintain the customer reviews, by calling them for any non-satisfy feedback.
I made a success in the 1st year which sales in best month reached 20,000pcs qty. T.O around 5-6M RMB of a year. And approach to rank 10 in T-Mall.


2021.10- now
Taking care of my father for over 6 months, helping him in recovering from stroke. This is the most challenge thing in my life, nothing ever can be compared. I do appreciate this period even it's really tough. It strongly enhances my confidence that nothing is difficult if you have faith in the target. Behind bad luck always comes good luck!
I study each medicine side effects and doing the comparative test, I study rehabilitation therapy in very short time, I study from nurse how to taking care of people. Helping, encouraging him doing the rehabilitation, exercise from the bed to the ground, sit to stand, kneeing on ground to help him walk, one step by another, day by day, night by night, sadness, fatigue, grudge, frustration, then has to be cheered up every time by one simple hope that he can walk again.
And now he finally can walk.

Founder

New Product development:


1. Work with PM, PE, designer, over 50-100 models development per year, manage from prototype to shipment, establish the retro-plan to ensure the on time deliver. I am the leader in most cases for all green blocks. From idea to shipment, all steps in between, sourcing, prototyping, test and certification, BOM analysis or design to cost, modification, industrialization or pilot run, master sample and mass production.
2. Balls development for 3 years, machine stitching and hand stitching, and laminated or molded balls, like soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball	familiar with all kinds ball's material, structure and process, interested in Studying issue how to make a "round" ball and accumulated deep knowledge in material and process, proposing new material quality control standard. I made one process book as a manual for new comers training. And I sourced out all major vendors in China. Over 20 supplier visits with Evaluation report done. And opened 2 of them finally. Successfully proposed one valve structure which prevent defects from needle piercing, proposed one 6 panel beach volley and one mini volleyball item. Successfully in all new developments as routine.
3. Soft protection development over 10+ years, circular knitting and flat knitting, stitching, weaving, products like knee support, ankle, elbow, lumbar belt	fitness or boxing accessory, like gym weight, boxing strap, boxing mitten	Successfully in many new material or process launching, rich experience in testing the usage. Solve the knee support sliding issue, lumbar belt fabric broken issue. Familiar in risk or benefit with many small components or process which could integrated in usage, such as the elastic webbing, zigzag or overlock stitching, thermos compression application. Work online for CI project, improving the Gym weight production process flow, DST work flow, to improve the efficiency or output, by trying new operation, or new tools integration.
4. Inflatable product development for over 2 years, welding process, outdoor airbed and Kayak and swimming accessory. Followed all important pilot run, successfully developed 2nd generation of Decathlon Kayak. Work with PE and suppliers in air-leakage issue (by changing into 2nd generation of bottom structure), and strict quality control system integration in supplier, including all online parameter checking and final air-leakage inspection.
5. Tent product development for over 4 years, stitching process, tent, easy goal or kage. Successfully proposed design to cost solution on one important model, based on material or process saving, which cutting 5-7% in ex-work price or 1M euro in yearly purchasing T.O. Successfully developed Decathlon easy goal range which covering from football to ice hockey or even golf. Familiar with the fabric consumption analysis, always work on marker pattern to improve the usage, and save the cost, many other proposal in terms of pattern modification to save cost. I also create an internal training for DTC topic. Work with PE, successfully finished over 20 models for hunting and dog's training equipment in less than 1 year.
6. Foam product development for over 5 years, extrusion foaming, mold foaming, fitness mat, foam roller	helping supplier improve the production efficiency by adding few new auto machine in process (one auto cutting blade, and auto-printing machine). Set-up the material book which including different type of foams, character, test values   Successfully proposed one full range of Massage products into market, including foam roller, foam ball, massage stitch, massage kits. CI project online improving hula hoop's plastic cutting and assembly efficiency with new tools integration.
7. Hard protection development over 1 year, process of plastic injection and mold foaming, shin guard, bodyguard, roller protection. Horse riding protection for over 2 years, like tendon boots, mask, leash
8. Rotate mold injection over 3 years, gym ball, PVC ball.
9. Goal keeper glove development over 2 years, familiar with many brands' glove material and structure. Working with supplier to optimize the process flow for one important model to improve the output. Opened one supplier.
10. Create and Analysis the BOM, optimize the cost during sampling process, I am the Instructor in DTC training. (design to cost). I successfully cut around 5-7% cost from the modification in design, on one important tent model in big qty. it saved over 1M Euro in yearly purchasing turnover.
11. Estimate the quality risk, by using test or lab test, trying to avoid it in develop stage.
12. I am proud and have strong passion in each new development I have involved, even proposed the new product by myself like yoga ball's fabric cover, like mini-ball, like shower tent, hunting tent, and the housing on balls valve which protect bladder been pierced by inflation needle
Sourcing:
1. Supplier sourcing, Work with strategic buyer to build up the regional purchase policy. Open 6 new suppliers in total, Normal procedure was involved from 1st visit, evaluation, sampling and quotation, then social audit, quality audit, financial audit, until final opening with contract signed. 2 ball's factory, 1 fitness factory, 1 tent factory, 1 protection factory, 1 airbed factory.
2. Product sourcing, normally the new product sourcing needs released by PE or Buyer, then we will push supplier to compete with other production area to get this opportunity.
3. Join one supplier's New Product meeting each 2 weeks. Proposing new products directly to Product manager from supplier's catalogue in PPT. That made a big success. Me and PM, build the 1st Decathlon sports massage accessory range. (including foam roller, massage stick, vibrate massage roller, massage ball, kits   )
Supplier Management:
1. Daily management to supplier, setting yearly mission and target, leading the Weekly visit, Monthly, Mid year, End year meeting, reviewed actions. Basic but important, which I am the leader most of time and manage main KPI of my suppliers.
2. Leader in Lean project of my key supplier, boost supplier autonomy by themselves, working with them to improve the efficiency such as line balancing, killing wastage or automation and tools integration. I spend lot of time in online checking, Gamba walk, to calculate, detect, improve the efficiency by many small action, such as combining or separating process or inventing a new tool to help operation. Example, 5% saving in labor cost on one important model. (DST)
Example:
One Key account supplier management, boost business from starting 2M to 20M less than 5 years, helping them in process expansion from extrusion foaming process only to stitching, knitting, injection, foam molding process, also a lab. I followed and provided consultancy in factory layout, social compliance, quality system, lean management


During my watch, Shenzhen department always keep a strong competency in Decathlon North Asia supplier panels, comparing to other area's team, we are:
Strong and Efficient in development speed, industrial ability from prototype to mass production. For example, whenever buyer release a new product needs to different local purchasing areas, many cases that we are the best which can lead the new development, by quick response, good quality and price, strong industrial ability, also the flexibility in supply.
Quality management:
1. Analysis quality return figures weekly to find the root cause and define actions, and also coaching other team members how to analysis return figures. Specially for the new product into market, I monitor the 1st batch of return samples to analysis in each defect piece if any risk in quality according to some unimagined usage from customer.
2. I stopped one serious quality issue on item Lumbar belt, just before 1st order shipment.
3. Manage product's quality improvement in process, coaching supplier for quality system establishment or any improvement. Review with supplier's internal quality audit report each 2 weeks.
4. Internal quality auditor, make at least 10 audits to other suppliers each year. Using this opportunity, I discovered almost all the process, from plastic to metal, shoes to paper   all suppliers of Decathlon in Guangdong&Fujian area, even in Japan for swimming goggles
5. Coaching other team members how to analysis the quality figures and responsible for whole team's figure analysis including weekly return rate, return reason analysis, and define with each people their priority or action to be implement.
6. I managed and closed the important quality issues, like goalkeeper glove's case, like training rope, lumbar belt	by intervening quickly to find root cause, I saved further losses and defined clearly responsibility for total quality action cost.
Negotiation
I am the Main leader of yearly negotiation with key suppliers. Lead more than 50 official negotiations in Decathlon career.
Very important Preparation work with buyer to define the context, which considering all the raw material cost trends, exchange rate estimation, labor trends   as well the improvement in supplier's production total time or efficiency, then defining the bottom, target price, pre-sharing qty, and negotiation strategy to see if we need to be aggressive or offensive.
