• Ownership of Product/Assortment/Category Strategy & P&L for a total budgeted business of 15.5 mil AED; achieved
+1.5% growth Vs LY and +5% net profitability by consistently reviewing and appropriately editing product lines. Worked on
the new Fast Fashion brand launch and achieved a hit rate of 85% in the first month of trading.
• Development of the range architecture/product lines based on robust analysis of sales and inventory data, ensuring a
balanced SKU assortment in style, pattern, color, and size. Achieved seasonal STR of 80% with accurate merchandise
planning as per seasonal demand and key trend relevant to the market.
• Review and monitor sales reports for all brands, products, sub-categories, and price levels including best/worst sellers
and using this to aid future buying decisions, maximizing sales, and minimizing risk. Conduct weekly trade meetings to discuss insights into sales trends & highlight any upcoming inventory concerns such as shipment delays, trends missed
out, re-buy opportunity etc.
• Liaising with planners to ensure the product offered is right for our customers and supports our business objectives.
Perform analysis on seasons' financial and assortment performance to develop next seasons' buying plan and explore
profitable strategies for the business.
• Work with revenue and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies to improve category conversion and sales.
Analyse promotional effectiveness and make future recommendations to revenue team on category promotions
• Work with Site Merchandising and Product Marketing teams to create high customer engagement through compelling
product messaging and store front visual merchandising. Responsible for Customer Experience including Onsite User
Experience and end to end customer purchasing funnel. Improve category navigation experience (browse/search) by
managing enhancing product attributes and taxonomy.

Responsible for end-end buying and merchandising functions for Hush Puppies GCC business of 33 mil AED, spearheaded
the re-launch of the brand in the GCC market, opened 10 exclusive brand outlets and 5 multi- brand outlets across United
Arab Emirates, State of Qatar and Sultanate of Oman alongside managing the brand across all online sales channels namely
6thstreet.com, Noon.com etc Pioneered a cross-functional product localization and hyper-segmentation strategy
contributing to incremental sales and financial growth.
• Developed a diverse product strategy to achieve higher profit margins (+6% VS Planned) by introducing localized product
offering in conjunction to the brand DNA for the GCC consumer through contract sourcing- Arabic Sandals for Men,
Embellished Heels & Flats - Ramadan Exclusive Collection for Women, Kids School Shoes for BTS seasonal demand.
• Key Account Management of wholesale/3P purchase partners- Etihad Airways, Emirates Airlines, Address Sky View for all
customized product requirements and business needs for male/female crew. Delivered a successful business of 6.8 mil AED
in 3 years of tenured contract.
